We are in this together

So this week for me was different than anything else.  They keep using the word unprecedented but that seems inadequate.
First, let me explain the meaning of on-premise vs off-premise so you know what I am talking about. On-premise refers to the place where you consume your alcoholic beverages on their premise whereas off-premise is where you purchase it and take it where ever you are going.

This week Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits, who I believe is the 24 th largest privately held company in the US as well as the largest liquor company in the world along with BreakThru beverage, furloughed their entire on-premise teams nationally.

These people are what I can only say are my family.

I worry how many will be brought back as I watch my other family, restaurants, and hotels struggle to get back up and stay afloat.  Knowing friends who are executives had to do this to their friends and family hurts my heart.

Please send love and support for the industry, we at Bloomers Frose, love so much.  May our distributors. Southern Glazers and BreakThru find a way to restore these jobs and may the rest of the distributors stay strong as we fight to get back.

We are in this together, a family, we may fight but we always have each other’s backs. That’s what love is.
